Tycho catalog star 4778:1403:1 is a luminous blue star (B0.5V) in the constellation of Orion.
This is a binary star system, which is very close to the famous Orion Nebula (M42, NGC1976). With an apparent magnitude of about 4.7, it is visible to the naked eye in many areas that are dark anough. It is known as HD 36960 in the Henry Draper Catalogue.
