AG Carinae is a luminous blue star (B2:pe) in the constellation of Ship keel.
One of the most luminous stars in our Milky Way. It is surrounded by an expanding shell of gas and dust, blown away by the star itself. The gas cloud has a diameter of about 5 lightyears.
